Applying to SWIC Fall 2011?

Hello all~

I'm working very hard to see if I can enter SWIC nursing program for Fall 2011. I would like to make of this thread a place where we can give each other support. Right now I'm taking a couple of classes ;Chemistry & Psychology until October and then I start Microbiology, Developmental Psychology, and Sociology until December plus the CNA course in November. I'm going bananas with all the credits and amount of work I'm dealing with. I'm committed to this but I have to confess I'm so scared I will not reach my goal and not have enough points in the end after all the effort. Thank God I can express myself here because I think no one around me understands what I'm going through to make it happen.

Oh sweet, I was thinking they were each like $100 a piece. At this point I would like to fast forward 2 years...anyone with me?

I didn't get mine today either. :( Let's hope they come on Monday for the rest of us. I hate having to get through 2 more days not knowing!!

Hello everyone! I am new to this site and just came upon this thread. I applied for the fall 2011 program as well and have been a mailbox stalker for the past few days. I applied with 19 points. Congrats to Erin on your soon to arrive baby (very exciting) and your acceptance to the program, and good luck to everyone else waiting for your letters. Can't wait to hopefully meet everyone this summer.

Hi Ladies,

I received my letter today. Let the journey begin....

Of course, as is my way, I'm already confused. The letter says that you apply for the background check and drug test online. The question is, do we send back the release forms for the bg and drug test in the letter with our acceptance form? The letter seemed strangely devoid of that answer........

I look forward to hearing about each and everyone's acceptance.

I'm IN!! I had 19 points if that matters to anyone at this point. I am not sure why I am more scared now than I have been even waiting for the letter, but I am!! And Kelly, I am with you, I am not really understanding all of those forms since we are supposed to do it online. Let me take a closer look and if anything clicks I will let you know!!! I look forward to this journey with all of you!!!

Does anyone knows what the point cut-off was? I don't think 15 will do it.
