Applying to SWIC Fall 2011?

Hello all~

I'm working very hard to see if I can enter SWIC nursing program for Fall 2011. I would like to make of this thread a place where we can give each other support. Right now I'm taking a couple of classes ;Chemistry & Psychology until October and then I start Microbiology, Developmental Psychology, and Sociology until December plus the CNA course in November. I'm going bananas with all the credits and amount of work I'm dealing with. I'm committed to this but I have to confess I'm so scared I will not reach my goal and not have enough points in the end after all the effort. Thank God I can express myself here because I think no one around me understands what I'm going through to make it happen.

I was thinking that we should strart a new thread too.

I also created a private facebook group for the 2013 nursing grads. I have a couple girls on there that I added to the group already, but you ladies can join if you want. It's just easier for me to be alerted and check that than this.

Sorry to be late to the party! I also purchased the books on Ebay. Sometimes, if you time it correctly, you can score a great deal.

Trace, I purchased older additions for A&P as well. However, I would agree, you won't need it. That CD was about the most invaluable thing about both AP classes!

I just started my immunizations yesterday, and today my arm is aching! I went to the Madison County Health Dept. and it was pretty easy to get in and out. I went in the afternoon, and they didn't appear to be busy. I got the first Hep B, Rub. Titer, Varicella Titer, TDAP, and first TB. The total cost for yesterday was $152.00. I thought that was pretty cheap, so if you live in Mad. County and need shots, I can verify they do them all.

What is the facebook account???? Does anyone take the calculations class in GC? Hope everyone is doing well!!!

When logged Into Facebook just search for SWIC nursing grads 2013. Then you should be able to request to join the group. I take the class at the belleville campus. I didn't know they offered it at other campuses.

I didn't know either til I got dropped and had to reregister and that was the only available class I could take...it's a bummer!

I interview next Tuesday, May 1, 2012 @ Beck Career Center in Red Bud, IL. Does anyone know what questions they typically ask you during the interview ? Thank you
