I am applying to Sacramento State for Spring 2015. I still need to take Physio and a few misc. classes like food and nutrition, an arts course, and a english critical thinking course. What I am wondering is this: If I were to take Physio during the summer, got an A lets say, would Sac consider me over other applicants because I have completed all my pre-reqs and co-reqs? I have a 4.0 right now. I am debating whether I should take this Physio summer class at a JC an hour away because the professor is better than the one I would be taking in the fall at a closer JC. Let me know what you think!
Nothing here yet, I'm also compulsively checking my email too. It's driving me crazy.
@jolina I did well on the teas (96) to balance out a not so high GPA (3.647) and I got some extra points for speaking Spanish and having health care experience, putting me at 74 points. I really hope that's enough to get in. How's everyone else's points?
I got 87.4% on my TEAS. That was my 2nd time, but I made the mistake of scheduling to take it the day before my wedding. Yeah... Brilliant! :) I have a 3.983 GPA, but no optional points... So I'm at 71 points. I'm accepted to ARCs ADN nursing program in January, but *really* hoping to get in at CSUS so I don't have to spend another year doing the RN-BSN bridge program. Toying with the idea of improving my TEAS and finishing my volunteer hours so I have optional points for a Fall 15 application , but I've been doing prerequisites at ARC and CSUS for 3 years now and I'm just ready to start a program already. I'm hoping the point cutoff for this semester is at least the same as Fall... If that's the case, I have a shot.
@KathyVandy I know what you mean, after so much time I just want to start a program. Sac State is my dream school, and it is making the wait so torturous.
I just found out that I was rejected from USF for their entry level masters program. It was my second time applying, and I'm a little surprised that I got rejected right off the bat again when I felt like I did so much to improve my application. I'm not really sad, though, since my heart is set on Sac State. Maybe the admissions people could tell that somehow...
I really really hope that the cutoff is low. I want to get in, I want us all to get in. I have been working at this for so long, as I'm sure we all have. Good luck to everyone!

I'm so sorry you were rejected at USF... They have a great program. I believe UC Davis is offering an entry-level Masters Program now, too. http://www.ucdmc.ucdavis.edu/nursing/education/education_MEPN.html
I understand about having your heart set on Sac State... It would be a dream come true for me too. :) I hope we all get in... We deserve it!

I wonder if they're doing the point breakdowns this time, last semester it seemed like those emails went out almost a month before the decisions emails went out. I'm getting soo anxious, fingers crossed for us.
