Applying csu chico, fall 2010

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Published

The deadline for Fall 2010 is March 1st, and we will know the result of acceptance in the middle of April. It's a pretty good time right now for the people applying to the Fall 2010 to gather together. You know, to share the experiences from the torturous waiting, how you think you are doing with your pre-reg and Teas, update information or .... to decide to share the apt with in the future! :p. If we are accepted, pretty much we will see each other for the next 2 years and a half!

SO HELLO PROSPECTIVE CLASSMATES!

Sorry to hear turtle. I also got waitlisted. I'm # 13. Damn I don't feel so confident anymore lol.

LoL I am #14....how the hell am I suppose to beat this crazy people. Anyone who got in wnna share the points they got?

@chicoguy. Im curious how many points did u get?

Does anyone know how many people chico accepts per term?

To Brighten: oh whoa, I remember your TEAS score was above 90%! Many ppl said it would be crazy, I didn't believe a single word. Now I could see how intense nursing programs really are, despite the fact that nursing is losing jobs right now. 0.0

I'm not sure we should keep on hoping. Cuz last year, it was like 14 students who got in. My counselor showed me the stats for Chico. But I don't think the number of students in the class would be that low. My assumption is last year many didn't want to go to Chico n dropped it afterward. Don't know it's gonna be the same this year!

Oh well, now I will go to Fresno then! Jezz, anyone know about its location?! All of the ppl I know said that it's really ghetto and conservative @ Fresno! Is that true?! POOR me turtle little! >.

SHOOT! I had 82 points for Chico, I submitted an eco-disadvantage but they only gave me one point for it. Now I'm #26 on the wait-list!! Does anyone know the highest number that has ever been accepted from the list? I'm pretty sure anyone with #10 and under is getting in, and 2007 for Sac State had #29 declines...:uhoh3: I'm sure this is just useless to ask but for some reason I can't let this tiny thread of hope go until I hear some stats. lol-where is the crazy face smiley? ;)

^ damn all I had was 83 points and im # 13 lol. wierd. im not sure how many people do get accepted into chico. I think its probably a low number. maybe 40?

Hey, I'm sure you don't look at these posts anymore since you've been accepted (I understand:yeah:congratulations!), but if you do, and you can give us the info on your points to Chico it would be greatly appreciated. :)

Chicoguy forgets us already, cuz he won't ever interact us in Chico!hehe

To waitlist: I really love your positive ideas of yours, but could u tell us how u know pretty much ppl in the waitlist up to number 10 get accepted?! Might it just be some rumors?!Anyways, if it's a slightest hope, I would really want to cling to it. I'm number 8 on waitlist! ^^ really appreciated to know! Please God, let me in!>.<.........maybe i need to go church every sunday back again and pray>

To brighten: I wonder how do they deal with the students who got the same score!? Don't they just place them alphabetically?! 0.0 I got 84 pts, just 1 pt above u Brighten! I knew Eastbay takes the most number of students every year among schools from Cali, since they have 3 different campus offering nursing program. U might be lucky over there! ( and we should all listen to the song "Keep holding on" of Arvil now!^^)

Updated guys: I just called this morning, Darry (I believe that's the name of the lady on the phone). She said that the alternate list is kinda unpredictable, more like lottery. Sometimes it takes up to #15, or sometimes less lucky only 4 first ppl on the list get in. And they don't have the deadline 4 noticing that. It can take until the 1st day of school that some ppl would decline their spaces. All we can do is updating our stats n wait 4 more. That's said, they don't really want us to bother them more because we are on the waiting list after all! No more information available ^^

@ turtle. CSUEB has 2 campuses and they take 60 students each. hopefully I'll get into east bay lol. i hope u get in turtle. and thx for the update for chico. :)

i got accepted with 85 admission points. im still waiting for east bay though because its closer to home. i wish the schools had all the same deadlines.
