2023 Applications to UBC and UVic NP program

Updated:   Published

Hi all,

I've applied to both programs to start in September 2023, and wanting to commiserate with anyone else who is anxiously waiting to hear. Looking back at previous years I'm feeling a bit discouraged since the admissions average seemed to be higher than I had been told by colleagues. Anyhow, let me know if you also applied and when you hear back from schools! Wishing you all the best of luck.

I've been anxiously reading along now awaiting decisions, I applied at UNBC, and was just wondering, is there anyone that can't see the awards and scholarships section ?

I can also see it. I think everyone can see it as the site has been updated.

Well it's been a crazy week. Anyone else making a decision about which program this week? I'm waiting to confirm UVic's tuition. I believe it's around 6K per year but I'm not sure.

Also is anyone interested in starting an online group for the various cohorts?

I got my offer email for UVIC, and I'm waiting to hear from TRU (next week) as I live in a rural community close to TRU.
TRU is approx $16,000 for the whole program, plus $3000 for books/supplies.
I don't know UVIC costs, but I presume roughly the same.

I would be down for a cohort group for discussions.

I can't seem to find the facebook group?

I wanted to confirm just because UBC is just over 10k for the whole program which is incredible! I don't think it will be substantially more but I wanted to make sure before I decline my ubc offer!
