2023 Applications to UBC and UVic NP program

Hi all,

I've applied to both programs to start in September 2023, and wanting to commiserate with anyone else who is anxiously waiting to hear. Looking back at previous years I'm feeling a bit discouraged since the admissions average seemed to be higher than I had been told by colleagues. Anyhow, let me know if you also applied and when you hear back from schools! Wishing you all the best of luck.

I believe there were some acceptance letters sent out.  I had a message to say I documents missing but may have sorted it out.  I have a weird question, if you could check, if you're able.  When you go to your myUNBC and go under student applications and click "Awards and Financial Aid" are you able to access it?  I used to not be able to but I seem to be able to now and I'm wondering if that means something.

Hi JeenPa,

thanks for replying. I checked the financial aid and rewards section and I was able to access it now. I had tried accessing it before after one of the users had mentioned about it but I wasn't able to access it then. I hope this means something positive for us ?

I'm also now able to access it. Fingers crossed it's a good sign.

I explored around the site for the awards. Im not going to read too much into yet, since it seems to just be the awards guide not the actual application. Maybe it's just an update to the site.

I just got the email saying I'm Waitlisted as well ? I'm already halfway through the  Athabasca SOCI 301 class. Maybe email back and ask what position on the waitlist you are. If you're close to the top would be worth doing in case you still get accepted

Does anyone know how to locate the number of NP seats at each institution and number of applications ? 
I've googled but not finding it .

Mine said recommended by department yesterday , today provisional acceptance . 
Most likely the stats course in past 5 years . No formal email ?‍♀️
