I'm applying for fall 2014. This February, I will be applying to FCC's (Frederick Community College's) Nursing Program. After this semester, I'll have three pre-reqs (A&P 2, Micro, and Nutrition) left to finish in the spring, and then I'll take a dosage calculations class for nursing the summer before I start the nursing program. Good luck to everyone!

Specializes in Emergency.

Dosage calculations class is required? Whaat?

Remember these formulas and you're golden:

Ordered/Have*Vehicle

Volume to be infused (VTBI)/Time in Minutes=Rate/Drop factor

For the above, just put an X for whatever you're looking for. Except drop factor, since that'll always be given (microdrop = 60gtts or macrodrip = 10, 15, or 20 gtts).

Good luck all to those who are applying.

I'm in North Georgia. I already applied for the Piedmont College 2014 BSN program this week. I will take the TEAS next week. My other options are Brenau University and UNG.

I applied to Chamberlain's Tinley Park location for Spring 2014. Have you heard anything back yet?
