Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Hi everyone,

Who here is applying for 2014? What schools are you applying to?.

I am applying to BHCC for their weekend program, RCC for their evening program, and Massasoit for their evening program.

Good luck to everyone!!! :D

I'm applying to KCC's ADN program (in Honolulu, Hawaii) for the Spring 2014 semester here in. Looking at a 3.4 GPA and 81% on the TEAS V. The selection committee gives special points for healthcare training, which I have. Leaving it all to God for this one. Hopefully this is the year! :D Good luck guys/gals!

Specializes in Critical Care, Transplant..

Taking my last pre-req in the fall and just earned my AA this summer. I am applying to JU here in northern florida.

I'm in California and planning to apply to the ABSN programs at Roseman University in Nevada and Samuel Merritt in CA. I'm debating if I should apply to Roseman for their July '14 cohort & hopefully get accepted, or wait and finish 2 pre-reqs for Merritt (pathophys & pharm) in the spring. If I do that, then I will apply for the Roseman October '14 cohort and the Merritt November '14 cohort and see if I get accepted to either one. Roseman is a little cheaper than Merritt, and housing is cheaper in the Vegas area, but then I will be moving a plane ride away from my family, so I'm not sure what to do.

Both schools are expensive, but I'm an "older" student so I'm looking for ABSN programs that are 1.5 years or less, since I still want to pursue higher degrees and am not getting any younger. I'm researching other ABSN programs to apply to.

I'm applying to CSU Sacramento, San Jose State, and San Francisco State and possibly East Bay

I have a 3.68 and scored an 87% on the TEAS V (97% national percentile)

Specializes in Aesthetics, Med/Surg, Outpatient.

BSN student @ UD with a 3.3 (outside GPA doesnt count) but a 3.9/4.0 while applying to DTCC with 95% NLN

I'm in Utah and applying for Fall '14 for the BSN program! I'm so excited I already have my application filled out, just need to take the TEAS and finish my last 3 pre-req's!!
