I got into Linfield for Summer 2011. :yeah:Would still have to borrow about $19K this year, but at least it's all worked out with federal loans and I wouldn't have to go digging for private money. (UP did not do me the same courtesy, with about $22K per year of unmet need there unless I get the Providence scholarship.) Time to sit down with a bottle of wine and a calculator! I am very happy to have options. Hope all the rest of you get good news!
I got my letter today too but I'm wait isted. Such is life and I was kind of expecting it because I got B's in my Chem's which brought my pre req GPA for Linfield down.
Anyways, I was wondering if everyone that doesn't get accepted gets waitlisted?
I got into Linfield for spring 2012! I was really hoping to get into the fall cohort, but I still have a few prerequisites to do so I figured if I got accepted it would be into spring term. I'm just happy I got in! :)
I was also thinking if PCC does their interviews in a little over two weeks, they wouldn't wait until last minute to send letters out. I'm hoping I hear something by the end of next week.
I got into the Linfiled for spring 2012. I wish I could start in fall. Now, I am waiting to hear from PCC and Mt hood. Milton told me that PCC is sending out letters in 2nd monday of April. For Linfield, all my spring classes are covered and I do not need privat loans, but I still do not have money to pay for my rent and gas. I am dancing!! :dncgbby: Congrats to all of you!!
@Ginny, not everyone who applies is waitlisted! They said they were expecting about 800 applicants this year, and plenty of them get a plain old No. I will be hoping that you are high up on the list!

For those accepted to the private schools-How are you handling the deposit situation?
Linfield's is due May 1st
Walla Walla is due mid April (my friend got accepted here and is the main reason for my question...)
And I'm not sure about the others but if you're still waiting for the CC's to notify you, what do you do?
Pay your deposit even if you have an interview then if you get in at a CC, just lose out on your deposit?
This just seems so silly to me. This is the ONLY reason, I'm feeling fortunate being on Linfields waitlist.
Also, PLEASE let us waitlister's know if what school you guys end up choosing if you were accepted at multiple schools!
I got into the spring and if I get into mt hood, I will go to Mt hood. So you might have a chance to go to Linfiled. Are you waitlisted to fall or spring?
I got into Linfield's accelerated program for Summer 2011! I'm going to have to take out a bazillion dollars in loans, but I am super excited!
