How's everyone doing with their Apps?
I applied to MHCC, CCC, PCC and Linfield.
It's my first year applying and I'm a nervous wreck!!!
How long does it usually take to hear whether or not you got an interview?
I was glad to see CCC changed their deadline to Feb 15th like the other OCNE schools-I think it'll make the waiting more bearable!
Anyone else want to share points to see how tight the competition is this year?
Other than Mt. Hood, I don't get too many discretionary points.
Heres what I *think* I have (figuring them myself):
MHCC-63 points
CCC-50 or 51 points depending on how they round up your gpa
PCC-54 points
Good luck everyone!!!
Let the nail biting, stalking the mailbox begin!
I got into CCC and PCC! : ) I'm not sure which school to choose, as I didn't really have a preference. Any arguments for/against either school? My husband and I will be moving to the area of the school I choose to attend, so driving distances aren't a problem.
Congrats! You must be pretty excited. I've heard that the facilities at CCC are better than PCC. I can't say though with personal experience. Perhaps others will have something to say about that.

I definitely hope to hear some testimony from each of PCC, CCC and MHCC! Gotta check my mail when I get home from work today but so far it looks like I'm in for MHCC and not sure what I'll do if I end up having my choice. Anyone want to share good/bad things from current or recent students of these programs?

I did my prerequisites at PCC and will finish my CNA a Clackamas (CCC) tomorrow morning. So here are my 2 cents. First the facilities at CCC are the best in town beautiful new building and labs. Two of my CNA instructors teach in the RN program and are top notch technically and very supportive personally. PCC was also a good experience but in my opinion it's a very big program (too big for me). Just me but because of the cohort size (40), nice facilities, staff that I now know, and my interactions at the interview, if it were down to PCC and CCC I would personally pick CCC.
You have a great problem - enjoy it - you have worked hard to get it.
