How's everyone doing with their Apps?

I applied to MHCC, CCC, PCC and Linfield.

It's my first year applying and I'm a nervous wreck!!!

How long does it usually take to hear whether or not you got an interview?

I was glad to see CCC changed their deadline to Feb 15th like the other OCNE schools-I think it'll make the waiting more bearable!

Anyone else want to share points to see how tight the competition is this year?

Other than Mt. Hood, I don't get too many discretionary points.

Heres what I *think* I have (figuring them myself):

MHCC-63 points

CCC-50 or 51 points depending on how they round up your gpa

PCC-54 points

BTW, thought you guys might be interested with the application stats from OHSU: I recently called to ask a question about their tuition and the lady who helped me also told me that there were 145/950 accepted applicants from all their campuses in Oregon and from that, 24/400 accepted applicants are for their Portland campus.

I just received your PM and since I am new to this, I can only reply through PM if I already have 15 posts (which I don't have yet:-) Funny how you talked about the financial end of it because I too am in the same boat with you. I was trying to research the CCC rates but for some reason I can't find it in their website unlike PCC. While OHSU is definitely a good school, I was hoping to finish the program earlier than three years, I will also have to apply for scholarships which I will start working on tomorrow and there is also the distance+parking issue with OHSU (being the least part to worry I guess). Let me know if you find out more about it also. Congrats! [-:

A couple of ways to PM:

One, click on the paper-and-pen icon (one of four) that shows beneath a member's name.

If no icons are visible, click once on the member's name and the icons should appear.

Clicking on the icon will take you to the PM screen, and you fill in the blanks: to whom you wish to send the message, etc.

Second way, scroll up the page to the yellow bar area and click on My Account.

In the drop-down menu choose Private Messages or Create Message and click on what you want and take it from there.

Got my acceptance letter today from PCC, so they are mailing them this week.

I have already confirmed my spot at OHSU so that's one more opening at PCC for those of you who are on the list :) Best of luck to everyone waiting on PCC!

I have not received any email from MHCC. I am worried about this. Is today the last day for the letters? Are these letters denial ones? I am so disappointed right now

Hey Jessica....I remember at the interviews she said that we should be notified by the 17th but if you haven't received anything by the 20th to call.

I'm impatient though so maybe shoot ------ an email and explain that you're worried they don't have the correct email because others got their emails Monday?

Got my acceptance to PCC also, but I am going to Chemeketa if I get in, or OHSU where I did get in, so my spot will be free for PCC.
