Hi Sophia! Thank you. I am very sorry to be the bearer of bad news but I wanted you to have all the info I had. At the Providence Scholar interviews the Providence rep said UP had admitted far more people than they had seats for this year, since many people apply just to see if they get a Prov scholarship and don't go to UP unless they get it. So UP accepted 100 people for only 60 spots, assuming that many people accepted would go elsewhere since UP is the most expensive. I imagine they are sweating it this week to see how many people plan to take their offered spots. Given that, I would be super surprised if they got too far down the waitlist, because they basically built in a 40-person waitlist. But the deadline to pay the deposit is 5/1, so you should know pretty soon. I wish you good luck and hope we can be classmates. Are you still taking prerequisite classes somewhere or just waiting?
kmdguy- what time is your interview on the 11th? Mine is 1pm-4pm! The letter said we should get out final results around the 17th, but that seems like it would be tough if they go on strike the 12th...

Kamaboko - I would not be so sure of that. They just eliminated their medical assisting program and Fired 3 of their full time librarians which puts their accreditation at risk.
Just got a call from Clackamas Community College. I was on the wait list. They asked me to come in this coming Thursday at 8AM for an interview. I said, "only if you beg me to". lol.
:DFinished interview for MHCC yesterday, and what a great group of people I interviewed with! I was a bit nervous seeing as I had to follow an ex-army medic and a peace corp volunteer, but I'm still confident I did well. Only time will tell- and all I can do now is wait! good luck to everyone, only a couple weeks left till we get responses!
