How's everyone doing with their Apps?

I applied to MHCC, CCC, PCC and Linfield.

It's my first year applying and I'm a nervous wreck!!!

How long does it usually take to hear whether or not you got an interview?

I was glad to see CCC changed their deadline to Feb 15th like the other OCNE schools-I think it'll make the waiting more bearable!

Anyone else want to share points to see how tight the competition is this year?

Other than Mt. Hood, I don't get too many discretionary points. :(

Heres what I *think* I have (figuring them myself):

MHCC-63 points

CCC-50 or 51 points depending on how they round up your gpa

PCC-54 points

The cut off was 58. I had 57.6.

I think its OK to let you know that its handwriting and you will be able to reference what you have written.

Good luck!

Sounds silly, but are we able to write in pencil? (so we can go back and correct mistakes?)

Wow, I can't believe letters are already sent out for OHSU. Congrats to everyone accepted, you should be so proud. I will also be stocking my mailman. Does anyone already accepted want to share their pre-req GPA, if not that is ok too?

Congratulations to you, too! I still think Chemeketa will be my first choice if I get in there. It is closer and cheaper.

I had a 4.0, but their website says something about the average GPA for 2009 or 2010 was 3.7 so they take a range.

Great Job! I have around a 3.8, so I'm not getting my hopes up to high. I'm very anxious to hear back from Chemeketa, which is my #1 choice. Wouldn't it be nice to have to choose what school to go too?

My mail just came and no letter. I'm guessing that is not a good sign. I will now have to wait until Monday :(

But you got a 50 at Chemeketa, right? That is promising. Plus your mail could have good news on Monday. :)

Yes, I did get a 50, with 360 total. I'm really hoping that score will get us in. I really hope that they don't have to go to a tie-breaker. Do you think our chances are better this year because of the essay scores spreading the points out? Congrats again, I'm sure you are celebrating :yeah:
