has anyone worked as a CARE manager for Senior Bridge?

Specialties Home Health

I got an email from a recruiter for care manager positions with Senior Bridge in my area. I've looked at their website & I think it's something I may be interested in. It's not home health care per se, it is more interviewing and documentation. The point is to prevent hospital re-admissions.

Just wondering if anyone can share personal experience with this kind of thing. Thanks!

How much paperwork did you send the agency I am in the same boat. I am afraid that they have already signed me up. How were you able to tell that they did not?

I cannot pm yet but I do need your help general advice would be great

I Pm'd you. Just post in some threads and get enough postings so you can start pm'ing to read your PM

ok thanks I will do that

Thank you I was able to read it and still cannot reply I downloaded the mess and read it. THe agency is still waiting for me to submit some Documents and I have not received a badge or training yet. I am thinking to go ahead and try to enroll as an independent contractor and see what they say. I dont think all my paperwork has gone through

Jayden.. I sent you another PM

Great I am planning to put my paperwork through the site soon .. THank you so Ill keep posting when I hear back

Sounds great!!

Thank you so much for this information. I, like others here, am in between starting with an agency and realizing being independent is a much better option. It's just been very difficult to get in touch with anyone about this at Humana but I followed advice I read on this forum and have someone's phone number now! She called me today and darn it but I missed the call. I will keep trying to reach her though.

However, I also did sign the paperwork with an agency but some issues have come up before I even started and I have not received one penny from them as of yet. They were pressuring me to see clients before I received my Humana ID and password. I was reluctant to do that. I think that I can convince this agency to release me from any binding agreement with the understanding that I will not share this information with Humana. (Sounds a bit like blackmail doesn't it, but in a way it is...)

Anyway, that's where I'm at. This agency was going to pay $65 for initial visit and $40 for follow ups. I found another that pays a flat $25 for any visit. What does Humana pay?

Specializes in Geriatrics.

I just filled out a form with my license number and contact info. Is this where everyone else started? Is there a number? I applied to a company and have not started yet is it too late for me?

Specializes in Geriatrics.

And, could someone pm the number to senior bridges. I am signed up to do the online seminar tomorrow but have only filled out an app (no tax papers or employment contract) with this agency. I would like to call in the morning before the seminar.
