I got an email from a recruiter for care manager positions with Senior Bridge in my area. I've looked at their website & I think it's something I may be interested in. It's not home health care per se, it is more interviewing and documentation. The point is to prevent hospital re-admissions.
Just wondering if anyone can share personal experience with this kind of thing. Thanks!
Thank you I was able to read it and still cannot reply I downloaded the mess and read it. THe agency is still waiting for me to submit some Documents and I have not received a badge or training yet. I am thinking to go ahead and try to enroll as an independent contractor and see what they say. I dont think all my paperwork has gone through
Thank you so much for this information. I, like others here, am in between starting with an agency and realizing being independent is a much better option. It's just been very difficult to get in touch with anyone about this at Humana but I followed advice I read on this forum and have someone's phone number now! She called me today and darn it but I missed the call. I will keep trying to reach her though.
However, I also did sign the paperwork with an agency but some issues have come up before I even started and I have not received one penny from them as of yet. They were pressuring me to see clients before I received my Humana ID and password. I was reluctant to do that. I think that I can convince this agency to release me from any binding agreement with the understanding that I will not share this information with Humana. (Sounds a bit like blackmail doesn't it, but in a way it is...)
Anyway, that's where I'm at. This agency was going to pay $65 for initial visit and $40 for follow ups. I found another that pays a flat $25 for any visit. What does Humana pay?

How much paperwork did you send the agency I am in the same boat. I am afraid that they have already signed me up. How were you able to tell that they did not?
