my friend's mother said that RNs can make $300 grand for 4 months in Kuwait. i'm very tempted to go for that period of time, or for an entire year (that equals $1.2 mil people) she has advised me not to go if i value my life, or all of my body parts. has anyone been, and if so, how was it?

I have a feeling that if you could make 300K in 4 months, there would be a waiting list.

If it sounds to good to be true, it probably is.

Just a lot of big sand traps. If anyone has info for 300.000 for 4 months please post. I've give up my current travel assignment in Fl for 3 months in the sand. I'm retired Army so used to the desert.::)

I've heard this before... I think it's still just a rumor. I checked it out about 2 years ago and it wasn't true then...

@ nursejv, Like how high of a salary do RN's get? After reading your post, I went to the Ministry of Health website for Kuwait, and got all kinds of errors, and the site didn't load correctly. The site didn't seem legit.

Hi RN1913

Yes. MOH KUWAIT do give high salary and good benefits. I was offered 2600USD a month and with great bebefits. MOH came to the Philippines to give exams and was hired..

GOdbles!

I'm thinking 2600 USD/month is not a correct figure, because that is not a high salary.

But maybe if you're from the Phillipines it seems like alot.
