Anyone starting LPN school in Sept?

Anyone starting LPN school in September? My first day of class is Sept. 2nd. I have orientation August 18th. I am chomping at the bit! Can't wait to get started. :)

I start Sept 2 also!!

I'll start on Aug 19, at yuba college. (CALIFORNIA)

It will take me 2 yrs to finish the program, I am happy but nervous, I really like everything about nursing but I am afraid I won't make it.

Can everyone say how long it will take you to finish the program, and your location, so we can give tips to each other.

Hello, I just passed the NCLEX this past Friday at 45. It was alot of hard work, but it can be done. Good Luck.:nurse:

I would love to hear from anyone else that started last year just to know what happened.Also are you guys having trouble finding jobs at all?????

prenurstudent heyy i feel the samee way!! it will also take me 2 years due to having to work i chose to go part time nights which i feel is probably the smarter choice i dont even care if it takes 2 years as long as i get there and i am nervous too!!!

hey i made it in to the fall class ours starts on August 24th till the next august 5th. and our orientation is two days in june not sure which two.

Hi All! Graduate2010 here....Thanks for bumping up this thread.

I started LPN school last September and know we are on summer break. Our program follows the public school schedule since I attend the vocational technical school here in Hampton, Va. Honestly...it's been tough:cry:but I've managed to pass all modes with a A' & B's. For those of you who are reading this thread it's not easy and you do have to study and read on your own and TAKE GOOD NOTES!!. Who said working full time and going to school can't be done...because it can with support and dedication! :yeah:I thought for sure I was back in high school with some of the drama that was going on but you have to stay head strong and remember why you are there. Like I said before we are out for 2 months and return back in August for Level II and I'm so looking forward to it.:wink2:

Anyway, thanks again for bumping this thread and good luck to all of you. Please keep in contact to let us know when you graduate. I will keep you posted while I continue my journey.

I start school on August 20th and go to orientation on June 2nd. I am so excited and can not wait to start, but at the same time I am so nervous that I will fluck out. I am so glad this forum is here so we can all root each other on in our effort to become nurses.:loveya:
