How is life in Regina, Saskatchewan?
Thanks guys for your help!:w00t:
Hi bobbantom! here is the contact number of the director regulatory services/ registrar of SRNA (001)306-3594245 direct line. If you are calling from the Philippines you can make a call between 12 am-5 am (Tuesday- Saturday). BTW, have you received your contact ID number and a message from your initial assessor? Goodluck to you.
SRNA is presently working on files from Summer of 2009!!!!! I applied a couple of months ago and they told me not to hold my breath! I therefore applied to Alberta and just received notice that i have to do a SEC assessment! I am wondering if the SEC assessment is province wide interchangeable??? For example...i want to work in Saskatoon so since Alberta gave me an answer quicker than Saskatchewan due to their delay will Saskatchewan accept the results of my sec assessment????

Practically speaking what you wrote is only partially true in a real sense. Sorry for being rude, if you are thinking that the regulating bodies like SRNA need to cover ONLY the expenses in the process, well it is not acceptable. We IENs are fortunate enough that they are opening a door for us. Aside from that, SRNA indeed requiring a BSN program for IENs applicants if they want to work as a RN. There are also chances for internationally educated LPNs and SRNA is not the one processing the papers for LPN applicants instead the SALPN (Saskatchewan Association of Licensed Practical Nurses) with email address of www.salpn.com FYI. Always remember that $$$ cannot buy everything in this world.... including someone's dream. . We just NOT need to dance but we need to follow in every details and if the following will lead us to our dream it is better to take it than not doing anything at all. BTW, my sincere condolences to those victims of earthquake in Chile.
