I'm graduating with my BSN from a traditional university and want to find a good online option for my MSN, but I don't want to waste money or time. I'm interested in Chamberlain, but skeptical. Every school seems as though they want you to jump through hoops to apply with exams, interviews, essays, references, etc. Chamberlain seems almost too accomodating and eager to have me. Any advice?
Just finished my BSN at another online college. Looking into Chamberlain also. How bad were the classes? Did you find them harder then the BSN classes? I don't know if I like the idea of "group" projects and like doing classes on my own. How long, for those of you who have finished did it take you to finish your MSN?
Just FYI..There are no Group Projects at Chamberlain for the MSN.
Program Highlights
- Earn your MSN in as few as two years taking one class at a time
- Coursework is 100% online with 24/7 access to courses
- Working Parent, Clinical Nurse and DAISY Foundation scholarships available to those who qualify
- No GRE required
- No group work
- CCNE accredited*

Several people I work with go to Chamberlain and like it. I'm considering them for my MSN. Right now, I attend the University of Louisana at Lafayette and love it.
Nikki, I am in Chamberlain online MSN track right now and love it! I finished the 6 core MSN classes and am now in the educator track classes. I am doubling up this session and will have 3 classes left after the July session. I am doing my practicum online teaching an online class with one of my professors. Many students have done practicums in the education departments at the hospital they work in, or at nursing schools, or online with previous instructors. I believe you need 100 practicum hours. So far I have been pleased with the 8 week courses and professors!

So you CAN take 2 classes at a time?
I am considering attending Chamberlain College of Nursing and I also will be working full-time hours which includes travel. Is the MSN (education) program challenging? Are the advanced pharmacology, advanced health assessment, and advanced patho courses challenging?
The education track has a combination course for patho/pharm/assessment. It's not too bad, time wise.

Hello, all!!!
I am in the FNP program at Chamberlain, I thought was too good to be true also but I have been there since January have had 5 courses and find it very easy to communicate with my instructors. Do your research, my state takes any accredited program and the schools around here and on line where much higher tuition for me. I am prior military. You best bet is to do what right for you of course!!! But the one thing I really like was the fact that the courses are 8 weeks. You may take 1,2,3 if you are not working. Good luck I hope you make a good choice for you! Kathleen
