I am writing to see if anyone has attended or heard good things about Maryville University's FNP program? They are starting a new online FNP program next year, but am kind of leery because I am not able to find much about the program. Also, does anyone know where I might find FNP certification pass rates per university?
Hello,
I finished the EBP class as well. The class was very busy and at times I was frustrated and tired of it. The syllabus and assignment tables or learning activities for my class were accurate; on the 1st day you will find a table of what is required each week :) . The instructor used the online class websites home page for "new" announcements, which included what was do that week or what was to follow for the next week.
Advice for EBP/classes: try to work ahead, i.e. discussion boards. I would print off the discussion board questions for every week and I would write out my answer (for the current week of class and the next week) and then, when it was due I would simply type it out (fix or add comments).
The content tab provides information for each week, be sure to look this over.
Be prepared to read many articles---mostly research (EBP class).
I am looking around for NP schools and found that Maryville meets all my expectations. Just trying to get any information on how people are doing in regards to full time employment and this program. Is it doable?!
Hi.working FT is doable right now.im taking my 3rd and 4th class with Maryville:pathophysiology and leadership. Patho has A LOT of work and reading.quizzes every week and leadership is kinda confusing since I haven't had a chance to speak with my professor. I love the school and format. Praying I can pull an A for both classes. Clinicals in the summer

Hi everyone,
I have applied to Maryville for the Adult NP program and I am still gathering the paperwork for the application packet. I hope to start with the April 2013 class. I would like to stay in touch with you especially once I find out if I get accepted.
