Congratulations on the acceptance! I just found out I was accepted for Summer. Very excited to begin this new chapter of life :)

Oh and no I haven't applied anywhere else at this time. I guess if Maryville doesn't accept me then I'll go ahead and apply to a few other places.

Still waiting, my advisor has been more than helpful throughout this entire process. They said it shouldn't be much longer. Been praying a lot :) thanks for asking! I'll definitely post the decision once I know. I hope your Bsn is going smoothly!

Just finalized my application. My advisor said I should hear something within 2-3 weeks. Anxious! Here's praying I get in on the May 2013 class :)

Hi David, I was thinking the same about the marketability of the FNP vs Acute care (Adult) and I have several friends who started as fnp then were able to get a post masters cert in acute care. Not sure if that helps, but they're able to go anywhere they want with those credentials. Best of luck in your career!

Hi! Really enjoying this forum and wanted to see if anyone is planning on applying to the FNP program for Fort Hays State in the near future. I'm just now finishing my BSN after being an RN for 13 yrs. Of course anesthesia has been in my mind, but my feelings are really pulling me to the FNP route. Would love to hear from any recent grads or applicants / students of Fort Hays State.Thanks!
