  1. LadyLabor- I am from Oklahoma and have applied to the Frontier FNP program. I heard from someone that is as difficult for people who attend Frontier Nursing School to get licensed in the state of Oklahoma? Is that really the case? I looked it up on OBN and found nothing that would indicate such. Also, did you have any problems finding preceptors in Oklahoma? Any information would be awesome!
  2. vnuwish- I got accepted today into maryville's FNP program. They admission adviser informed that in 2009 & 2010, they had 100% pass rate for FNP... eases the mind a little....
  3. vnuwish- I submitted my completed application there last week, so should hear something in 2 weeks they said. They are heaving on the recruiting which makes me wonder about the program, hopefully someone who has been there will respond on this thread. Congrats on being accepted. We may be attending together in May. What are you stats if you don't mind me asking , like GPA and when did you apply?
  4. The third school I have applied to is Maryville University. They are offering their FNP program all online, you never have to go to campus. You take one class at a time every 8 weeks, start clinical portion your second and the program only takes 2.3 years. Everything sounds great about the program, I just can't find their pass rates or any information about the program on allnurses.com which makes me a little hesitant. JazzyT, do you know what frontier is looking for as far as GPA, experience, etc??
  5. JazzyT- I am applying for that same class, hopefully starting in May. I am sending in my full packet on Monday. I have been accepted to another FNP program, starting in Jan 2012, but they are charging almost double tuition because I will be considered out-of-state student, so I am hoping to be Frontier bound in May as well. I bet we won't hear anything until march of next year.
  6. I am writing to see if anyone has attended or heard good things about Maryville University's FNP program? They are starting a new online FNP program next year, but am kind of leery because I am not able to find much about the program. Also, does anyone know where I might find FNP certification pass rates per university?
