anyone know of lpn jobs in michigan?

Nurses LPN/LVN

Published

Hello all! I am looking for a job in southeast Mi.. Prefer a facility but home care is ok if its steady work. Any one know of openings anywhere? Been an lpn for almost 4 years. 2.5 on a med-surg floor and one year ltc and home care. Please help!

I'm on the other side of the state, but here HHC agencies would be tripping over themselves to hire a LPN with 2.5 years of med/surg experience. Google home health care in Detroit metro area. I'm betting you'll find tons of numbers to call. Good luck!

I work for a facility owned by Nexcare Health Systems. Since Southeast MI is huge you can go on to their site and see which is near you, they have 17 facilities. I went in and applied to my facility in person. Out of the 50 or so applications that I completed online, this was the only call back that I got. I'm newly licensed. I passed NCLEX-PN in January and started orientation March 4. I hope this helps.

Specializes in Cardio-Pulmonary; Med-Surg; Private Duty.

Don't forget that Craigslist has job postings, too.

Like BrandonLPN stated, SW Michigan is dripping with Private Duty jobs for both LPNs and RNs. Private Duty is different than regular "home health visits" -- it's actual shift work (usually overnights, but not always).

I'm working 3 twelves in a row right now, and I've gotten a shift of OT each of the past two weeks, with at least two more planned in April as well.

I just got my license 2 wks ago and have been on two interviews going on a third one this wk. Got hired on the spot at every interview believe I will be hired on the third one. There are plenty even a couple of hospital if u wanted to do that go on indeed.com, careerbuilder.com, simplyhired.com it all depends on what you are looking for myself need a midnight shift
