Anyone Interviewed with UCLA New Grad Residency

I interviewed for new grad residency program Fri feb 27th 09. I was just wondering if anyone else, whom interviewed, has had any word on being chosen or not being chosen for hire?

Not me. Hopefully the economy hasn't caught up with UCLA too. I am worried they wont add any new spots after all.

I haven't heard anything yet either. I called to follow-up and was told to expect phone calls by the end of March.

I interviewed on March 6th and was told I would hear something by mid-april...Haven't heard anything yet, though...

I just checked my status on the website. It says "routed to interviewing manager." This has been a status change since I interviewed...wondering if this means anything?

To all of you who applied for a new grad spot at UCLA: how did you submit your application online? Was there a job opening to click on specifically for a new grad position? I filled out the "My Profile", but there is no way for me to submit an application without applying for a specific position, and there are no new nurse positions! Please help!

Hi there. There was a specific posting for the new grad position. They offer the new grad residency 3 times per year (think). The deadline and interview dates for the summer start has already past. The next one should start in the fall. This is where you can find the information on the program!

Oh now that I look at it, I guess it is offered 2x per year. So you could apply and interview sometime in the fall for the program that starts next winter!

I interviewed for the liver transplant icu on march 2nd and i have not received a call yet. My friend interviewed on march 12th for the med surg unit at ucla's santa monica hospital and she the job on march 16th. have any of you gotten a call yet?

I interviewed March 2 for the CTICU. i called last week and was told to wait until the end of the month.. did anyone else interview for CTICU and has anyone heard anything yet? the WAIT IS KILLING ME:(

Hey! i also interviewed for CTICU on march 2nd....haven't heard anything yet.

I called the interviewer last week and left a message, no call back.

I was going to call Sheri today, but now that i'm reading this thread, i'm thinking i'll just be told the same thing...to wait until the end of the month. yikes!

has anyone here gotten hired yet? was anyone offered a job on the spot?
