    Centerpoint nurses to Decertify Union

Unions are often very good. However, there are those unions that seem to do nothing but take the dues.

9 patients responsible for 2,678 ER visits.

I once worked in a large inner city er. When it gets cold, hot, the patient gets tired, hungry or just wants to watch tv, they come to the ER. Medicare patients come to the ER because it is cheaper for them. Many time these people are brought to the ER via ambulance. Do ambulances take patients to clinics? I remember one person whom took an ambulance at tax payer cost to the ER to receive a pregnancy test, at taxpayer cost. WHY she said she didn't want to pay $5 at walgreens for a test. Many of these people just want a place to stay. Of course the taxpayer does not want to be taken advantage of. That is support people whom are just lazy. Perhaps we do need more social programs to assist those that have mental health issues.

    UMSL or Barnes Jewish?

I went to Barnes and graduated. I was at both the new and old schools. Yes the new school is very modern and has a lot of new gadgets. The new school really has no library of it's own. The way the school was run was very disorganized, almost like they were making it up as they went along. When the new building was opened a lot of instructors from umsl started working there. Some of those instructors did not last long, they went back to umsl. All in all it is close to the hospital and I did pass boards on first try. The school may be much more organized now that they no longer have adn progam.
