Did anyone apply to CSU Sacramento's BSN program for Fall 2009? Have you heard back from them? I'm curious as to when acceptance/rejection/alternate letters will be distributed. I'm a nervous wreck, since Sac State is my first choice. I thought about calling, but I don't want to be a hassle, LOL.
If you applied to Sac State, and are eagerly waiting for your letter or have already received one, shout your news here.
Thank you kindly. :redbeathe
Hey bluechick112!
I'm actually still deciding between Sac State and Samuel Merritt, though I'm leaning more towards Sac State! I got into Sac State, Samuel Merritt (traditional BSN), Chico State, and Lakeview College of Nursing (in Illinois). I should add that I was on Sac State and SM's waitlist, but I guess I lucked out and got into both!
I'm still waiting to hear back from Samuel Merritt ABSN and Mount St. Mary's College ABSN. Thanks so much for the kind words. :redbeathe Good luck with everything!
By the way, you're taking pharmacology and pathophysio online at SBCC, right? I registered for pharm, but I wasn't able to register for patho, since all the classes are full. Do you mind sharing who your instructors are?
And congrats, Mossback, for getting into their ASBSN program! I can't imagine how competitive that must've been!
Congrats sophie! ill be joining you in the fall, i was alt #9!!! third time was the charm! yay!!
Yay! It's so nice to "know" someone who'll be there in the fall. Do you live in Sacramento, or are you moving there? I need to look into finding an apartment. Do you have any suggestions as to where I should look? Are you a Sac State student? What's the parking situation like? I just hope it's not as bad as San Jose State, LOL. Sorry for all the questions.

Yeah I live here, the parking situation can be bad but since our classes are early enough we won't have problems. I would suggest a normal apartment near campus or along highway 50 or the major streets Watt, Fulton, or Howe. Also you can look into downtown if you like the feeling of city life there's a little community there. With our parking structures the parking structure 3 is the best structure because it has larger spaces and is within a reasonable distance from classrooms and close to the nursing department. I suggest bringing food because the food places can be packed and also expensive. Parking pass is like $160 for the semester and you will need it if you're driving! see you at orientation!
Yay! I got your message on face book Dionne. I am pretty much done with my pre-entry checklist except for registration, books, polo shirts, and drug test! I can't believe orientation is THAT close to the start of the semester. We barely get any time to acqaint ourselves with other students!

LoveSophie---are you choosing Sac State over Samuel Merritt? Did you get into any other schools? I'm very jealous that you got accepted into Sac State! I placed somewhere in the 150s on their waitlist. :) Great school, though! Congratulations, really. I wish you the best of luck!!
