Anyone going to PHCC (Pasco-Hernando Community College) for pre-req's or NS?

I am finishing up my pre-req's and would love to see if anyone is in the same boat as I am or even in nursing school. Any advice would be much appreciated! :D

I hate how we are being told so many different things! But I'll take it if it comes a little earlier than anticipated :) Okay, so I want everyone to check their mailboxes and, when they get their letter, do your happy dance and tell your loved ones.... BUT THEN IMMEDIATELY POST ON HERE!!! lol That way we will all be on the same page as to when the letters have come! I can't check my mail until after 6-7 every day so if I hear someone say they got theirs, at least we will all know what to expect.

I know I'm being nuts... I don't care! lol

Hello everyone, I called PHCC yesterday...committee met and letters will be being sent out from the admissions office by end of this week or next.

DOH! This jolted me awake like coffee never has! I almost wish (almost...) I didn't know this because I have July 8 or 9 in my mind for The Day I Get My Letter. Of course, if the letters go out end of next week, that may work out still.

Anyone have any new info on whether LPN and RN letters go out at the same time, and if accepted into LPN, RN is a no, or vice versa? Does that make sense? I hope so because I can't rephrase it right now. My reaction to no1seez's post has turned into that yucky post-adrenaline rush and I may actually vomit. lol

MJ, do you need a mail checking buddy if you are OOT? lol

lol flbrowneyedgirl you are funny. I had the same reaction! If they have already met and the letters are going to be going out this week or next, I should be here to get the letter... I will only be gone the 8th and 9th so... if it comes those days, I will get it on the 10th. Thanks for the offer though, if I were coming back any later, I would definitely agree! I think we may get it sooner, though. Even if they sent it out at the end of next week, we should get it about 1-2 days later. So around the 4th of July... Seriously, too much pressure! lol

I just spoke with Sharon in the nursing department on the West Campus and she said letters went out Wednesday morning!!!!

Wow...thanks guys for making my anxiety about 100X higher! I felt my stomach sink when I read your posts above. Congrats on getting in! Hopfully, we'll all get to meet at the orientation. It's in the Lord's hands now!

Mommy to 4, you and I have the exact same teas score...

I applied to the RN with a 4.0 pre and co-req as well as the LPN, so my anxiety is through the roof right now. Truly, I think I am going to have an attack...:eek:
