Anyone familiar with CNET LPN Program in NYC? 2nd online exam?

I have decided to transition from being an Executive Assistant to a LPN. I recently took the CNET LPN Entrance School Exam, and will get my results in about 2 more weeks. I believe I did well on the exam. There is a 2nd exam given only online. Is anyone familiar with this program, and more so the exam? I would like to prepare for it. I also plan on contacting CNET directly sometime during the week to inquire about the second part of the exam.

I have been unhappy at my job for sometime, and though I financially make a decent living I believe becoming a nurse would be a dream come true. The nurses who assisted my father while he was battling cancer inspired me. I have heard this program though intense is great value for the tuition price. The entire program is $2,500, and is only 10 months long. I cannot afford to be out of work longer than this. Also, I am bilingual in Spanish though would need to learn medical terms. Anyone have a good Spanish/English medical term sources they recommend?

Well I graduated from this program and have been looking for work since Sept 2010-5 months now. Very limited opportunities for LPNs in NYC now. If you have a decent paying job, don't trade it in for something that may leave you unemployed for 6 months to a year.

I took the exam on Jan 22, still waiting for my test results. The second test is called TABE, its administered through ATItesting.com go on there and see what you can find.

I'm also doing a career change, so I'm very nervous and excited. Good luck

I got my results yesterday, and passed. Woo hoo! I have the TABE scheduled on 3/8th.

Do they have more dates to take the TABE. I took the lpn pre entrance exam at art and design h.s on jan 22, 2011 and I havent received my scores. They said they will resend it but I'm wondering now that you mentioned you are going to take the TABE on march 8th if they will give me a chance?

I'm in the same boat as you ... took it jan 22 at the same h.s. ... and no results ..so I called she said it was mailed of weeks ago ... said she'll resend them I'm to concerned about the tabe exam

Its ridiculous ... when did you contact them ? I'm calling. Back Monday. Just to see if they were mailed off again
