Anyone familiar with CNET LPN Program in NYC? 2nd online exam?

I have decided to transition from being an Executive Assistant to a LPN. I recently took the CNET LPN Entrance School Exam, and will get my results in about 2 more weeks. I believe I did well on the exam. There is a 2nd exam given only online. Is anyone familiar with this program, and more so the exam? I would like to prepare for it. I also plan on contacting CNET directly sometime during the week to inquire about the second part of the exam.

I have been unhappy at my job for sometime, and though I financially make a decent living I believe becoming a nurse would be a dream come true. The nurses who assisted my father while he was battling cancer inspired me. I have heard this program though intense is great value for the tuition price. The entire program is $2,500, and is only 10 months long. I cannot afford to be out of work longer than this. Also, I am bilingual in Spanish though would need to learn medical terms. Anyone have a good Spanish/English medical term sources they recommend?

I'm new in this forum. I wrote the entrance exam on feb.13 and yet to get my result. Is there any info. on that pls?

If you passed the CNET, you should not have a problem with the TABE. For the NYC DEpt of Education, LPN Program they are looking for a Level 12 in reading, and a level 11 in Math (which is composed of 2 sections- applied math, and math computation). I passed the TABE, and now officially start the application process.

I am in the same boat as you. I called them up today and they said results for those who took the test on Feb 13 were posted on Wednesday of last week. So we should be getting them anytime now.

hey guys congratulations:yeah: to those of you that passes the ny doe cnet. gr8 job. can anyone of you send me the number to call to find out about missing cnet results. My cousin did hers on february 9th i think and still havent heard from them :confused:thanks

Here is the number to call: 800.463.0786. I still haven't got mine. I took the exam on Feb 14. They claimed they posted the result last wednesday 3/9. They are resending it. This is very frustrating.

I took it and I don't quite understand how its scored. Can anyone explain that to me. How much do you need for each section....I heard its 50% or higher for each section but I'm not sure if thats correct. Please help. Thanks in advance

I was told its not like 30/60 gives u a 50% its based on how u do compared to everyone else YIKES! lol

I took my test last Saturday and it feels like the week is taking forever to end!!! i have to more weeks to go and im so nervous! The languane ability part had me near tears, well just the first 14. I hope i did well.

OMG I took it last Saturday to @ the High school for Art and Design. The Language ability part is the same one I had issues with and I left almost in tears too. Such a coincidence.....My head was hurting, stomach was hurting...but with love and support from family and friends I just prayed about it and said if its meant to be then its already mine...I hope you did well...2 more weeks to go....God bless and if you'd like keep in touch!!!!....

The c-net and TABE exams are still being held? I was told the last exam was administered mid april?
