Anyone else taking the weekend CNA class that starts on October 18 at RSAA?

Published

I just thought I'd see if anyone else was enrolled for RSAA's weekend CNA course starting October 18. I'll be starting then and thought that knowing some future classmates would be fun.

hey! its nice to meet someone that I will be in class with. I, too, work full time so no break! im hoping to get to work for scottsdale health care so that I can do scc's accelerated rn program

Well, the first weekend of class is over. It's okay. I like the instructor but I wish that they covered things that you will find in a hospital and not just a nursing home. I don't really have any plans of working for a nursing home because I want to get in with a hospital that has a partnership with one of the community colleges. overall, though, it's alright.

I don't think we covered hospitals at all. PM who your instructor was since I don't think we can name names. I'm curious. Glad it went well.

Yeah, we never went over hospital stuff and I've heard it's practically impossible to get a job at a hospital right out of CNA school anyways. You almost have to work in a nursing home before getting a job at a hospital.

I know that some hospitals, like SHC, will hire new grad CNAs. Others, like Banner, will hire you with only a couple of weeks of experience in another facility.

Where is RSSA??? And how do I find about the next set of CNA classes being ?? offered? Is this a JC or a private company, organization? What the cost.. Thank you!!!

RSAA is a private school. the cost of their peorgram is $850. Google RSAa Training Institute and you,ll find it.
