Howdy!
Anyone else out there getting ready to start Traditional Program @ OCCC?
I can't wait for orientation next week! I'm nervous and ready for AUG 20th. It sounds like the new building will be finished, so maybe we will get to move into a bigger lecture room. I hope. My kiddos start school that same day, so that should be a crazy week.
Thought I'd say Hi and see if any classmates were here.
Good Luck to All!
I absolutely hated math. Only after completing several advanced math courses at a university I learned to enjoy it. Now, I feel that it has greatly contributed to my knowledge of the world and to abstract thought.
But eh, it destroyed my GPA so no OCCC nursing school for me. hehe..
if only i finished my degree, i bet i could get in much easier with a bachelors even with a low gpa.
Gotta learn to play by the rules i guess
Math isn't really a big problem. I just haven't taken it (or really been in any classroon) for the last 18(?) years. I need to brush up.
I can understand how it could be a waste of time taking zero level classes. But I can also see that taking them provides a solid base to start an education from.
I just don't have the extra time, or money, for that kind of thing. I need the shortest path to a decent job possible, so I'll try to speed things up as much as possible.
