Anyone else applying for fall 2010 SPC nursing program?

Published

I'm finishing up my last pre-req this semester and will be applying online within the next couple of weeks as the deadline is March 1st. Anyone else applying for fall semester?

Morgan,

I'm applying for the EAYL program this year, do you know what the pay is for PCT?

Thanks!:)

PCT pay is $9-10/hr. You can qualify for benefits too @

I went down this afternoon to verify that they did receive my on-line application without any problems (they were surprised to hear of anyone having an issue doing it on-line). I also got my unofficial transcripts and the EAYL checklist printed and stamped for the information session on 3/30. Looks like I'm set for now!

Back to the books!

Awesome! Don't forget to fill out their online app starting March 8th - you have to do that first before going to the information session. I had no clue that they would send an email confirmation for filling out the SPC nursing app online. Oh well...I had to get the other paperwork anyway, so I killed 2 birds with 1 stone...keeping my fingers crossed!!

Wow...amazing the info they don't tell you! Or me at least! Thanks for letting me know...I'll add that to my calendar. Needed to go down there anyway and it didn't hurt to ask - better to be safe than sorry. Fingers crossed for both of us!

Good luck to you guys!!! Just look and act professional and be VERY compassionate in your interviews!!!!! I had to prep for the interviews. I googled " tough interview questions" and there are responses that are good to use. Make up good ones if you need to! I did :)

LOL! Thanks, Morgan! Were you nervous?? It's over a month away and I'm already nervous!! I'm afraid I might hesitate on answering their questions, which isn't a good thing.

I was soooo ******* nervous! The first interview at the job fair/info session isn't bad, but the one on one with JUST you and *** ****** in a room alone is very intimidating! Everyone leaves that interview not knowing how they did....she doesn't give you much to give you a feel on how you did. The most nervous part is waiting AFTER the interview(s)! You guys will do great!!!

Thanks Morgan! Considering who I might hit up for a reference letter, besides everything else. All the tips will be a big help I'm sure!

@Scrapworking -i'm not sure if i need to show proof of residency, thats also a big fear of mine because i have nothing to show to them with my sister's address on it. I 'm basically hoping and praying that they do not ask. If i dont get in this semester i give up!:crying2:

Well, good luck Terecil...how long have you been trying to get in? I'm working on plan B, C, and D....but of course, I'd rather not settle for any of those.

Hi,

I'm looking for a good RN/BSN program and found that SPC offered one online. Is the online program difficult to get in?
