  1. I am freaking out because i was registered to take my ATI test last thursday but i didnt get off from work in time to be there by 8am. I checked on Angel to see if there was another test date to sign up for and that was the final testing date!!!! and also i have no uploaded ANY of my forms on the certifiedbackground.com site because i have no scanner/copyier. Am i totally screwed?? do you guys think they will drop me from the program?
  2. Ok guys i finally got my letter. I got chosen as an alternate, im currently number 3 on the alternate list. I kind of figured i wouldnt get a spot due to not having all my re-reqs completed. I did complete the intent survey so that if someone declines their spot I can get a spot. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that i will get a spot!!! Good luck to the rest of you
  3. I still haven't heard anything back yet! anyone got an email yet?? I guess i will be stalking my email all day today since its November 1st
  4. Yes i guess they are really waiting until November 1st!! This is torture. Good luck to you as well. I really hope and pray that i get a spot but if not I will also be applying at HCC because their deadline is January 15th 2013. All my pre-reqs are completed for HCC but I am missing Ethics for SPC. I guess we will find out our fate tomorrow :)
  5. I also applied but i havent gotten a response back either. Hopefully i can get a spot because i am missing 1 pre-req.
  6. @ Itsmejuli - i'm already a SPC student for a year now so hopefully it goes in my favor. I have my fingers crossed!!! I think we should hear a response in April
  7. @Scrapworking -i'm not sure if i need to show proof of residency, thats also a big fear of mine because i have nothing to show to them with my sister's address on it. I 'm basically hoping and praying that they do not ask. If i dont get in this semester i give up!
  8. I applied in person as well by turning my application in at the HEC building. My sister lives in St.Pete so i changed my address to hers so hopefully that will make a difference. My gpa isnt very high so I have to keep my fingers crossed this time around.
  9. Hello. I will be applying as well for the fall semester. I'm really nervous because I applied last semester and i didnt get in. I currently live in Tampa and when i spoke with an advisor she stated that it will be hard for me to get accepted due to the county resident preference. Good luck!
  10. I hope so! Aww this is sooo frustrating, but i guess an alternate is better than nothing. I just dont understand how this whole "alternate" thing works for the EAYL program. Hopefully the letter that she sent me explains it more in detail.
  11. I'm an alternate for the EAYL program. She stated in the email that if a slot becomes available for any reason, i would get a call.
  12. Ok so I finally got a reply back. I got chosen as an alernate! This is bitter sweet news for me at this point. Now I have to hope and pray that someone declines their acceptance, which i higly doubt!!
  13. Ok thanks, i will do that. I'm thinking that i didnt get in because they would have contacted me by now. Ol well I can always try again next year
  14. So i called this morning, and no answer! I left a voicemail message and hopefully she contacts me back today. I do not have any other number to call. Does anyone have an alternate number that I can call to get an update on my status!!?? This is killing me
