Has anyone appied and been accepted into the RN program at DBCC? If so what was your GPA? How were your NET scores?

thats a lot of students! i can't wait , i'm so excited and nervous! I got my letter for the cpr class and it said how you need the book and mask for registration. I'm just worried they won't let me in without it. I'll probably break down and get em anyway.

Buy the mask for the bookstore on campus it is much cheaper, but I would not buy the book. I have been there. I promise you wont need it. They even said "I know your going to be upset that we didn't use the books," at the end of the class. There were like 20 people there who just bought them and opened them up.

I went to the bookstore today. They had all of the text books ropped off , so I couldn't peek, but I did see stethoscopes and blood pressure cuffs, they were an off brand (can't remember which) and cost approximately $18 each. I'd rather get better quality, but they might have to make due until I get my loans.

That's kind of funny that they have to rope off the freaking books. I saved up some money this summer and got a decent scope. I'll probably be gettng a book loan cause it looks like the book vouchers won't cover everything

They have been roping off they area for a while now, I think it is because they worry about people stilling them or coming in and getting isbn and then buying them somwhere else. They act like they are doing us a favor by going and picking up the books for us, but they are probabley making us buy all of the new ones, lol!

I haven't gotten a scope yet, I was hoping to get a littman before school started, but that doesn't look like it is happening.
