Has anyone appied and been accepted into the RN program at DBCC? If so what was your GPA? How were your NET scores?
Hey is anyone having as much trouble with the math as me??? MB I know you are a pro at it, but I tried to do some of the questions and I am FREAKING out. I guess I will have to go and see Ms. Miner in the skills lab. MB you are going to have to help me big time.
repetition, repetition, repetition. I'm the biggest mathtard alive (i still count on my fingers) but i promise the more you do it, the easier it gets.

RS you know I love you and I will help you as much as I can! ****, you might end up helping me!
I just wanted to say how great this forum is! I was up at 6 am this morning looking for any info on Daytona State College nursing program. I have read all the posts since the last few months. It was like reading a good book. Its really great you all our supporting each other. I hope to start in January. Which means going on a huge budget, quitting my job, taking care of my one year old(with my husband's help!) and also going to nursing school. I really want this for me and my family and I plan on reading how your semester goes. It sounds like most of you are well on your way and all of you seem so nice and so helpful. I hope I can find someone to chat with when It's my turn to start. I have butterflies just thinking about. Good luck everyone.

Hi, I hope you do get in for January. So far (it's only bee 3 weeks) but it looks like it's going to be a great program. It is a lot of work, though. Lot of reading. Keep us informed on how things go. :redpinkhe
Good luck with your decision!! I wouldn't necessarily rush to quit your job though if your only concern is balancing it and school. Many in my class are working full-time with families and seem to be doing quite well in the course so far. It's not easy, but for those of us who don't have a choice it certainly is managable!!
I would have to agree with the other posters! yeah the program is hard, but we have all set our minds to it and I am sure we will all be here in five semesters talking about how everything came about so quickly.
Good luck everyone! Next two weeks are going to be a little intense and before you know it we will all be in clinicals!
