Has anyone appied and been accepted into the RN program at DBCC? If so what was your GPA? How were your NET scores?

So is anyone else feeling a litte nervous about there first skills check off?

I guess it doesn't make it any better when the teacher keeps repeating how we have to live up to the old class who always passed skills on there first try!

My skills test is tonight and I'm pretty much ready to puke, I'm so nervous. I do have to tell you guys, if you think you might be struggling with something or are unsure GO TO THE SKILLS LAB!! I went to the one in Daytona and Mrs. Miner is AWESOME. She was so helpful and reassuring and gave me some good pointers. Good luck everyone!! :heartbeat

We are all going to do GREAT!!!!!! Do you think Lear will do the e-val in the morning or afternoon? I am going to do my well elder today. It is due on Wed, right. Is everyone working on the study giude questions?

My Well Elder is due Tuesday but I go at nights so our schedule is a little different. I don't usually do the study guides till after we have the lecture on that chapter, it just works better for me to understand what I'm doing. I hope the do the evals first thing so we can just get it out of the way.

Not good at all. I have to redo my radial and apical pulse and BP. Now I'm freaking out that I'm going to fail out of nursing school. :crying2:

I passed!!!! :yeah: I was ready to throw-up, and I thought 100% I would fail... but I passed. I would say less than 8 people in my class passed everything today though (and a number have to redo all of it).

I passed too! Isn't it so exciting! I couldn't believe it! I thought for sure that I was going to fall, but some how it all came together at the last moment.

Most of our class passed! I can only think of one person who didnt pass.

A handful of people in my class passed everything. One instructor was particularly tough. I don't know of anyone who failed everything, but I think there probably were a few. I made a really stupid mistake and missed temp. argh! :banghead: So don't feel bad...
