Has anyone appied and been accepted into the RN program at DBCC? If so what was your GPA? How were your NET scores?

So, I have to take the CPR class again because my CPR card doesn't say 'for the health care provider'. Be honest with me, do I need the book or not cause the paper I got says I have to have the book to get into the class. Is it easy?

NO you do not have to have the book. If it makes you feel better buy it from the book store but do not unwrap it! It will need to take it back and once it's open it is your forever. I bought the book and took the class at the school and we DID NOT NEED THEM. They even said at the end of the class, we realize you didn't use your books, but the reason is because you are supposed to study before you come to the class! There was even one lady there who didn't have a book or a mask and they gave her a mask to use. SO it is up to you, but I would save a few bucks !

The book is not returnable, the people there didn't give anyone a hard time for not having the book or mask.

I got all of my books today, except Tabers. I also got my stethoscope, a littman, from the Deland campus book store.

I was reading the syllabus and noticed that on Mondays (or whatever the day is before your clinical) we have to go in to our clinical sight to look-up/research our patient.

I also saw that we had to go in the day before. How much was your littman? They didn't have those at the daytona campus so I got the cheaper one.

around $60, I was going to get a cheaper one too, but they didn't have any.

I want to know since when sex was a basic physiological need in Maslow's hierarcy? That was interesting. :D

It's super nice to see the RN major. Makes me feel good.
