Anyone from CA who took the NCLEX on the 16th?

I have an Interim Permit. They say that if you fail the nclex, your Interim Permit will no longer be valid. So does that mean that it will no longer show in the BRN IP verification if you fail it? Mine still does so I guess I still have hope of passing the nclex. Am I right or wrong?

please read the new sticky that i have placed concerning results in ca from the brn. you can also read it directly on their website now.

it is going to be two to four weeks before results are released.

you can read it in black and white right on their website.

please just sit tight and wait for your results.

why are they closed every 1st and 3rd friday? just curious.. :thnkg:coz that'll just only leave them tons of things to do.. you know because of the lag..
but what do i know.. they proly have a very good reason for that.. just wondering why.. :urgycld:

I am from CA and took the NCLEX-RN on the 16th of this month. It has been 4 days now and I still dont see my name on the CA-BRN website. Does anyone knows what is the time frame of when our result usually shows up on the website? My test stopped at 75 questions so either I did good or bad. This wait is really making me nervous.

whooo hoo!! I passed!!! :yeah: took my nclex on 2/18 in CA. I got my result this morning that I passed!!! 6 days waiting makes me really nervous :icon_roll (2/20 is a furlough friday too) and I almost lost hope, but I keep hearing Susanze and silverdragon and everyone else say "do not assume anything until you get your result" so I was just hold tight and tried to do lots of house chores to get me distracted. It's hard to wait and I know how you feel, but just hang tight. Good luck!

Congrats to you Hello_Nurse!

I took mine on Feb 16 and until now no result yet. I think its a bad sign....I think I will gonna start studying next week if I dont hear anything within this week..

Hi Jenny73: Yeah you're right. I think i'm going to start hitting the books again today. It has been 9 days already Jenny73 and it is not a good sign at all. Why wait for the letter to come via mail (2-4 weeks!!!) if I could start studying slowly now. I don't want to sound too negative but I just don't like false hope. I'm not giving up at all. I will do better next time. Can anyone share their experiences on test taking tips on passing the nclex-rn that actually work?

Please do not assume anything until you get your results. Ca is now taking longer to process and have changed their site to indicate this

Hi Silverdragon102: Thanks for the positive support. It's just that some of my classmate already have their result online within 3-4 days. I'm still waiting for the mail though (crossing my finger)

I know Ca have changed their message now to say 2-4 weeks, Just because your friends received their results before you doesn't mean you have failed. Hang in there and I am keeping my fingers crossed for you

i took mine last feb. 18. and result is not out yet. good luck to all of us. hopefully we all passed so that we can add that RN, or LVN at the end of our names.

Hi Silverdragon: Thanks for the positive support. I wanted to start studying again, since its been 9 days already that I havent heard anything. I didnt see my name posted on the website and there were some here who took it after me that already knew their results.

But I guess, I just have to wait patiently.

Paul, lets just wait for our results in the mail.

My husband keeps telling me to wait for my result. Sometimes, I am very moody and frustrated. My husband encouraged me to do yoga with him during the week, and I like it so far. I just watched a soap opera on youtube. Go out with my friends every friday.

Lets just pray and wait patiently. God be with us always. Everything happens for a reason.

Jenny I know it is hard but wait for your results. There could be a very simple reason to the delay.
