Anyone applying to UAB MSN program?

Hey just wondering if anyone is applying to UAB's MSN program. I'm applying to their FNP program, but still unsure as to whether or not i'm making the right decision about school choice. I'm specifically wondering about the time commitment. I work full-time and am wondering if I would still be able to keep my full-time job and do the distance learning format full-time as well. Also, cost is a major issue to me as my husband is racking up a gizzion dollars in dental school loans. Any info would be awesome.

I called, they mail it. She said no email...will know the first two weeks of July. Good luck everyone!

Did they say when they mailed them out, this is killing me as I know it is with everyone.

I didn't ask, but I would assume this week for them to be hitting mailboxes next week......YIKES! Its going to be a rough and long week!

- I bet some will see a response in the mail late this week - The other school I applied to over estimated their turn around time to avoid phone calls, I would expect this is a common practice.

I talked to the guy who sends them out yesterday...He said he will be sending them out "sometime next week..." And yeah, he said it is mail only as well.

I just received a phone call late this afternoon from the dean of the ANP program at UAB... she said I was accepted into the program and wanted to clarify my curriculum plan to follow. She also thought letters were sent out, but I told her she was the first to notify me. She said letters should arrive soon. I know most of you are applying for the FNP...hope you hear some news soon. :)

I'm not sure if they were calling everyone...I just think she needed clarification to my curriculum path since I'm a post masters. I was shocked b/c I haven't even had as much as an email from the school about my application. Good luck...news for everyone should follow real soon.
