Anyone applying for LCC's Nursing program this spring?

I am trying to start a thread for people applying to the Lansing Community College Nursing Program Spring 2010!

No it did not say the point cutoff. But I had 85 points and two of my friends had 83 and they recieved their letter also so please don't give up. You might still get a seat or at the very least get an alternative seat. I do wish you the very best of luck! Oh and we all applyed for the 3 year part time program.

Got my ACCEPTANCE letter today too!!! I'm in for next spring! I had 82 pts...so no idea what the cut off might be :)

The cut off was 80. you needed the denial letter to find that out. Damn 1/100th of a point on my GPA. if I would have had a 3.5 instead of a 3.498 I would have got in this year. UGH!

I got my acceptance letter today too! I start this fall for the full-time program! Yay!! The best day ever!!

I am sorry to hear about your denial. Is it still possible to appeal to someone in regards to that? Also, did they at least offer you an alternate position?

Not much I can do about it this year. I have an appt with the nursing Advisor at Jackson Community College, to see if It is possible for me to get in there this year. they have 2 seperate deadlines for applying. One for Fall and one for winter. I will see if I cannot get into there program. The fall deadline is May 31st.

Congrats!!! I might end up being in the full-time fall program with you. A friend of mine checked the wrong box on his application and he tried to apply to the part time and checked full time instead. He got in but he can not do the full time so I told him that I would give him my part time seat and take his full time if he can't find anyone else to trade with. Which orientation date are you going to?

I have to go to the May 10th orientation because I have on the job training on the 30th.
