I submitted my completed application on November 23rd and I'm anxiously waiting. I attended the open house in September and fell in love with the program. I just thought I would check in here and see if anyone else is in the same boat. It would be interesting to have someone to commiserate with during this awful waiting game :) :typing
Jdcurly! Awesome news, congratulations! I couldn't remember your real name for the interview day and now that I see it, I think we were in the same tour group! I figured I'd have until Thursday to be calm and then get stressed since that was the day everyone found out (if they did) from the 1st interview day, but it looks like I might be wrong! Congratulations again :).

Yeap, I was thinking just like you. I might hear something by Thursday, but most likely by the end of the month. Hearing this morning was a huge surprise! Oh my God, I'm actually still in shock about it. Thank you so much! Did you have a green coat on? We may have actually spoken, lol :)
I did my interview by phone a few hours ago....very similar to what previous posters have stated, the interview was rather informal, and focused on my previous studies and work experience, as well as what motivates me internally to do the accelerated program. I was expected to be familiar with the major aspects of Duke nursing, and explored the differences of Duke's programs from other schools. I was also given the time to ask questions about curriculum options, clinical opportunities, etc.
Will receive a response from admissions in a week or 2 max. Cross your fingers...
