Anyone Applying to Delta College for Spring 2011

With only 4 weeks until we can start applying, I thought that it would be nice to start a new thread so that we can all keep in touch, pass along information, and post our stats.

Just got done with my fitting :-) they weren't as bad as they look on the dove website :-)

Kwade-I am so glad to hear that! Are they so thin undergarments will show?

The pants don't really feel thin but looking at them if you wear darker underwear you can probably see them for sure!

I did my fitting today also.. The fabric is pretty nice and thick.. it actually looks better than the website sample. :)

I'm going to do my fitting this afternoon. Glad the uniforms are thicker than we thought. I was worried about that!

Does anyone know what our schedule will be like in the beginning? I believe it's altered the first couple weeks since we aren't in clinical. And do we have an orientation or a welcome tea before school starts? Would be great to meet everyone beforehand.

Good Morning All! I had my fitting yesterday too. I was talking to one of the student nurses there and was trying to figure out how our first couple of weeks go. From what she remembers (she going into her 4th semester) she said it is close to what our clinical schedule is like. I would like to know more about that too. Well I hope all is well and It will be here sooner than we think! Yay! I get butterflies in my stomach every time I think about it!:D

Question, regarding the , I'm still waiting for them to upgrade mine from 1/3 to 1/5. Did anyone finally get this resolved with them going from a CNA to RN student with higher liability limits? I just uploaded the first certificate they gave me even though the limits are not satisfied just to show them that I got something.

Hey- I faxed in a written statement asking them to up mine to 1/6....because thats what they offer..I faxed my paper over late last Thursday and I just logged into my account and saw that it was added. I didn't pay anything extra either so don't let them charge you..I also just uploaded the 1/3 certificate until I get my new one..and Julie in the Nursing dept said that was ok...

Thanks Alykat....such a pain they are in getting that part taken care of! I uploaded the same today and will just wait until they get it right. The lady said to call them on Thursday. ;)

From looking online, it looks like the master cardiology doesn't have a bell.

Has anyone been able to download the ADN Program Student Handbook? I tried and it came up garbage so I'm wondering if anyone has had success with this.
