Hi, everyone! I am a wife with 2 kids, 15 and 9. My husband is out of country now and for four more weeks. I am taking Spanish 1 and nutrition at DSC now to be able to apply to UCF at Daytona next year. I have a 4.0 GPA and 75 teas score. I don't think I have time to study to take another teas test with my summer classes. I am Chinese learning Spanish. It is not easy! I am just gonna hope that not everyone apply has a 4.0 GPA. I like to read your story if you like to share.:)
Hi, I have also applied to UCF nursing for the daytona campus. I still haven't recieved anything either. I call asked and they said they will sent the decisions letters out by email in 1 to 2 weeks. I am wondering if the people who recieved the letter was the just the general acceptance in the UCF not the nursing program yet. That would make sense because I recieved a letter but it was the general acceptance into UCF not the nursng program.
I also thought the same thing about it being the general acceptance letter and not the nursing acceptance. But in another post, she was talking about the immunization forms and getting them from her knightsmail...so Demi, if you read this post will you please clarify if the mail you received was the general admittance to the university or does it specifically say you have been accepted into the Basic BSN program. I think there a lots of folks here wondering how you could have gotten your letter so early.. Thanks.
I am feeling very relieved now since I've talked to several people, and no one else has heard anything either. I just wanted to make sure she knows as well that what she received might not be what she thinks it is, although with a 4.0 she's probably a shoe in=) And Kay, I have spoken to you on here before but changed my screen name. It used to be NMcKenzie. We have communicated through email as well, just wanted you to know it was me=) GOOD LUCK TO ALL!!!

Thanks Demi,
That makes me feel better. If people are getting in with 3.2's I should be fine with a 3.4 and 85 TEAS. Im just really wondering why they notified you before the 6 week time period was up. Oh well. I'm going to call Monday to see what's going on. I also live in Port Orange so if I get in too maybe we can carpool to save on gas:D.
