Anyone apply for UCF nursing 2011 at Daytona Beach?

Published

Hi, everyone! I am a wife with 2 kids, 15 and 9. My husband is out of country now and for four more weeks. I am taking Spanish 1 and nutrition at DSC now to be able to apply to UCF at Daytona next year. I have a 4.0 GPA and 75 teas score. I don't think I have time to study to take another teas test with my summer classes. I am Chinese learning Spanish. It is not easy! I am just gonna hope that not everyone apply has a 4.0 GPA. I like to read your story if you like to share.:)

Did you find out by mail or email?

Thanks. I got it from mail today.

Living the dream:

Someone got it Wensday. Your is in the mail tomorrow:)

Check your e-mail just in case! I got my E-mail a few days before the letter came in the mail. Congratulations!!! I can't wait to meet y'all this winter :) Make sure you guys come to the meet and greet when it comes up!

It is so frustated that I can't sign in with my PID and password and can't get the IMMUNIZATION form. I did email them and wish to have answer soon.

How's everything going for y'all? :)

My husband finally got me a knight email account and I print out the immunization form. Since I don't have any vaccine doucument, I will need Titer test for IGG, IGM, right? This means I just go to my family doctor and ask for the test. I remember you told me about the day for orientation(1/4-1/5), but it is not posted on the website yet. I really like to have more information about our schedule and what we need for the classes. I still have classes at fall at DSC. Do you think I can go see Miss mareen and I will have them or I just need to be patient wait for it in the mail.

Yeah, you will either need proof of immunity with a titer test from your doctor OR you can go get the immunizations again if that works out to be less expensive.

Those were the dates of *our* orientation - yours may be a bit different. Those dates for the orientation and things like that you'll get closer to the time school starts.

The schedule for classes will really will be mostly 4-5 days a week. The times of lectures and labs will be the same but the clinical days and times will change.

They'll e-mail you a book list and tell you what classes to sign up for and which sections. We got our book list in November and the information for registration in December.

Be patient! The information really started rolling in in September - so much information that you'll be overwhelmed. So relax while you have a chance!!!

I guess I didnt get in since I have gotten nothing by email or regular mail.... What a bummer =( Don't they notify you even if you are denied?

I'm pretty sure they do. You're definitely checking the e-mail you applied with, right? Usually it's the knights mail account, though they may send it to your personal one as well. I don't remember what I applied with :/

Yes, I've checked my personal as well as UCF email and nothing! I dont understand how Demi received her acceptance email August 5th when we were clearly told that nothing would be sent until 6-8 weeks after the July 1st deadline... that would be August 15th at the earliest. Hmmm, very confused, scared, nervous now. And Demi if you dont mind me asking, What was your overall and prereq gpa? Teas score? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Im freaking out here...

My acceptance letter was in mail , not email. I have 4.0 GPA overall and prereq and 75 teas score. My friend's friend got in too with only 3.2 GPA. I think you should call them.
