anyone apply for sccc fall 2011 nursing program?

Just looking for company ... Has anyone applied for ammerman's fall 2011 nursing program? What are your grades and does anyone know last years GPA cutoff? Also, do you know anyone who got in without four A's?

This is a new thread...others are from a few urs ago.

I too will be racing home to see what the mail brings - but I have a feeling it will be next week when we all start seeing the letters...

no letter! but i did get a call over the spring break that i was accepted into the ammerman program because i was on the waiting list for grant campus :)

i am getting kind of anxious though because even though they called me, a letter would be nice just to confirm it :idea:

this was my first time applying, i didnt even expect this at all i just applied for the hell of it because it was a quick process through sccc.

i have a 3.5 GPA i took alot of the pre reqs courses for BSN program like biomedical ethics, health, stats, precalc etc, and I am a member of the Honour society - Phi Theta Kappa and took alot of honours courses in suffolk. I'm also a student ambassador in sccc and have worked on cancer research in stony brook summer 2010. oh and i am currently taking Emergency Medical Care 1 course, i will be taking my EMT state exam this May ;)

my grades were :

A&P1 - B+

A&P2 - B+

Psych Honours - B

English Honours - B

Sociology - B

Micro - A

WOw impressive - I can see why they would gladly accept you... I have only an Associates in Science (Chemsitry) and then all teh pre-req's for nursing -

hopefully its enough
