Just looking for company ... Has anyone applied for ammerman's fall 2011 nursing program? What are your grades and does anyone know last years GPA cutoff? Also, do you know anyone who got in without four A's?
This is a new thread...others are from a few urs ago.
That's funny....because I spoke with admissions, central admissions, nursing department and financial aid all today, and every last person said mid may.....were very tight lipped about any letters going out at all. I just hope that the info people leave here is accurate and not giving false hope.... I had a financial aid call today because I need to matriculate in order to release loan. Because I have not received a letter yet, the computer cannot matriculate me. I do not need any other courses other than nursing courses so there is nothing left to register for. It was an issue to say the least and all departments mentioned above couldn't tell me anything specific even though I am in danger of losing my aid. So that is pretty proof positive of how tight lipped they are.
That being said, if someone received their letter yesterday, then letters have started to trickle out. They are not going to mail out 700 letters in one day...probably over a week or so. Every last applicant would then be notified by mid may, which makes sense. So I guess that is why they say mid may....so any day now it could be in the mailbox from yesterday until mid may. There is no alphabeticalnrhyme or reason either, because her last name is not a very early letter in the alphabet.
So the torture continues.
I am leaving it in Gods hands....where it has been all along anyway, and just pray really hard for, well, a divine intervention!

I know whenever I get mail from Suffolk that it is always dated like 2 weeks before I received it. Probably have a slow mail room. So if they went out yesterday I don't expect it till at least the end of next week, hope I'm wrong though. I guess there is no point in trying to figure it out though, it'll come when it comes, hard to not think about it.
Good Luck to all. It's coming down to the wire now so it's normal to be nervous. I'm curious as to why the Grant Campus is more competitive than the Ammerman Campus. I've always heard that the Ammerman Campus program is the better program. Anyway... Fingers crossed for all of us applicants.

Hi Divine, I just called today as well as was told "Mid-May". I guess they are being tight-lipped about this, but if people have already started getting letters and phone calls, then I suppose that things are definitely going to heat up by next week.
I'm totally with everyone here in keeping my fingers crossed!
