how was it? can you share your experiences? I heared there's a height requirement? Did they already pick applicants that are for training?
I passed my resume through email. Are the applicants today who are being screened are the one who passed their credentials way back last years or early this year? I think, as you posted earlier, those who pass in late months of 2008 and early 2009 are just being entertained right now.
I am just crossing my fingers that one day, I will get a notification from them.
@ kyckerz...kuya, i passd the initial assessment last march 9 and sir drei told me to wait for the SMS for the HR interview. Can you help me on what to expect in the upcoming HR interview? Is a long-sleeved polo and black pants okay? by the way, how was the technical interview? Thanks...

Remember three R's for technical: Reminisce, Recall, Review
Regarding the questions, I suppose you have heard that the technical exam is quite difficult (or easy to some?).. yes.. difficult in a matter of sense that questions in the 12 core competencies are asked.. Let's say each competency will be from any category (OB, Pedia, MS, Psych).. Half a dozen of the interveiwees will be asked one by one about that random question. If not answered, it may be passed to the one beside him/her.
Frankly speaking, I got mesmerized at the first few questions because I cannot get to the flow of questions (or maybe mesmerized on how the other applicants are answering) and got a blank stare at the first few questions. But I got something from those answers given by the other applicants... better if questions are answered as brief, short, and precise as possible. For what reason? To avoid follow up questions? Lol.. Seriously, to need to stay focused on the core competency topic. Don't let yourself go too far. If the core competency is about Safety, and so be it, don't go elsewhere. Listen to every word. After the question, pause for a split second to rationalize your answer , then go fire your answer
About the apparel, it's much better to wear something that doesnt look like a Board Director, CEO, or even an Overall Supervisor. You got that right, wear long sleeves, slacks, black shoes (with a coin inside your shoes), comb your hair, have a hanky with you.

Hi kyckers. This info is of great help. I'll have my technical interview anytime now. So this really made me know the things that will happen in the technical interview.
It is basically situational.. like "how would you prepare an elderly client for surgery?" "how would you ensure the safety of a disoriented client?" "how would you communicate with a deaf client?" "if the client asks for __, and there is no __ in the hospital, what would you do?" "are you in favor of abortion/contraception/euthanasia?". There are also some questions like "tell me about yourself" but basically for that part you defend yourself why you DID NOT take the nclex and give your future plans. For the research portion, they ask what research would you like to do for your masterals.

I got a funny text from Ma'am Gianna yesterday, and it really surprizes me (a lot). I just send a SMS to Miss Lalein yesterday morning, asking if the slots are already full for training (that's why they didn't call me anymore). In the afternoon, I got a SMS from Ma'am Gianna asking me to go to a technical interview on Thursday. This makes me think, are they still hiring or just for formality sake that they'd forgotten all about me (that's why they called), try that interview and eventually fail it? What do you think?
