how was it? can you share your experiences? I heared there's a height requirement? Did they already pick applicants that are for training?
I called up SLMC-GC for the application status of those who have taken their initial exam on December 2008, and the HR personnel informed me that they have reached the number of staff nurses they needed (meaning they have all the batches for training already filled up). All those who have taken the initial exam since December 2008 or those who will be applying for staff nurses are for manpooling only.

Thanks for the info. I had my initial exam last december. So that means I should not expect anything with SLMC-GC.
hello everybody~!
i just passed my technical interview this month.
I live very very (very) far away from Manila and I have some questions to ask. Can anyone help me? (purdy-please~)
> what are medical tests?
> are the medical test, assessment, and pro speak spontaneous or will i have to wait months for the results of my medical and another months of waiting to take the assessment? (i know...be patient. I am but I have to save up for the expenses and plan ahead just in case)
> and if it isn't to much...does any one have an idea on how much the allowance is again? (hehehe~.)
thank you and God bless~!!!
mam gianna just texted me the schedule for my medicals. on march 3! i was not expecting it. i was waiting doing nothing for the last 3 months, kinda hopeless so i decided to take a 3 week course and now that they called, there will be a conflict in the schedule. i couldnt afford more than one absent. anyone here who knows if they'd allow rescheduling? or would it be accomplished (the medical exam) in one day coz ive heard u have to go back the next day for the result then they'll ask u to pass the req't... i tried to text mam gianna, i ahd to do something about it but no reply yet. i really want to work at st.lukes *sigh*

I just passed my resume and the photocopies of every certification of training that I had undergone. Considering the volume of applicants, the time of processing might be twice as slow. Just be patient (if you really want to work there), or maybe email your resume again. It's also a good thing to have a work experience or attend some more training. Good luck!
