how was it? can you share your experiences? I heared there's a height requirement? Did they already pick applicants that are for training?
may i ask, what is the email add of st lukes global city that you sent ur resume to? how many days or weeks did it took them to answer to ur mail and schedule u for the initial exam?thank you...:)
Try to find the SLMC website and send your resume there (there IS an e-mail address there - you just have to write in the subject of your e-mail "Staff Nurse Resume for SLMC - Global City," or something like that, to have it sent to the respective HR). As of the moment I know there is only one SLMC website out there. The waiting time could be different due to the volume of new applications they receive everyday. When I passed my resume on the last quarter of 2008, it took about 1.5 - 2 months to wait for the schedule of initial exam, plus 2 weeks for the date of exam itself.
How many applicants undergo training per batch? if they train 20 per batch, does it mean they only need 400 nurses? Now this gets slimmer and slimmer.. Still waiting for their call for the technical. Who got the same schedule of their initial interview and received an email: First week of October 2008
Congrats!!! I wish my faith follow yours![]()
By the way did you know what happen to the previous batch? Are they now working at SLMC? How many percent make it through? I remember The HR told us that you need to be in the top 90% of the training batch to be able to make the cut. Is that true?
Well goodluck!!!
My sister just finished her 4 mos training and from what she told me, she is still waiting for the schedule of her clinical exam. Some of her classmates are now working there already. But I don't know if it's true that you must be in the upper 90% of the batch.

We ask that you write out everything completely just as you would if you were charting on a patient, or submitting a letter to a potential employer.
This is the best place to get the practice of what you should be doing. Text messaging is not acceptable for this site and on any forum.
I do hope that your resume was done in complete English, and not abbreviated like this.

I got scheduled for my initial exam after maybe 1.5-2 months after I passed my resume through e-mail. One has to really wait because so many nurses want to be a part of SLMC. Just do other things (certifications or training) or maybe pass your resume to other hospitals because there is no assurance of being hired by the hospital. But if you're willing to wait, just be patient, and it will come when you least expect it.
