Hi all! I also posted this thread in the Nursing Student forum, but haven't gotten any replies, so I thought I would post here in hopes of getting back at least one reply!
I applied for the fall semester at the Baptist School of Health Professions evening/weekend program in San Antonio. Looks like I won't be able to quit my day job like I had hoped, so that is the reason for me applying to the evening program. I would like to know if anyone else has applied for this program for the fall semester, or if anyone is currently doing the evening/weekend program while holding a full-time job during the day. How is the work load? How are the Saturday clinicals? I'm aware this is going to be a challenge, but I'm very willing and ready, and very excited!!
I appreciate any feedback...thanks! :)
What I found weird about the survey, was there were some questions asked, like you were already a nurse.. I actually asked, as to what was gallup, and its a site employers are now using for pre employment... interesting.. I applied for the night...so I gues we'll see.
I thought that was strange also! Good luck to you, I hope you get in!
well when I went to open house they told me we would find out mid may or so but then I talked another girl who went to a different open house and they told her it could be in June..sooo I'm not sure if its true but HOPEFULLY NOT! I would email the adviser and ask just to make sure. let me know what you find out!
O.K. I emailed Baptist on Monday about when we could expect the letters and I finally got a response today! The email said "Acceptance will be emailed within the next two weeks". I actually copied and pasted that sentence from the email. That is all they responded with. So . . .there it is from the horses mouth! I guess that could be June 1st couldn't it . . .I hate waiting too, but I'm glad to know I'm not the only one compulsively checking my email!
I have applied to the day RN program at Baptist. I posted this on another thread, but if you all took any pre requisites in spring, it will help to send your new transcripts in. I called yesterday and they said yes it would help and I hand delivered my official transcripts. Good luck to all of you!
