Hi all! I also posted this thread in the Nursing Student forum, but haven't gotten any replies, so I thought I would post here in hopes of getting back at least one reply!
I applied for the fall semester at the Baptist School of Health Professions evening/weekend program in San Antonio. Looks like I won't be able to quit my day job like I had hoped, so that is the reason for me applying to the evening program. I would like to know if anyone else has applied for this program for the fall semester, or if anyone is currently doing the evening/weekend program while holding a full-time job during the day. How is the work load? How are the Saturday clinicals? I'm aware this is going to be a challenge, but I'm very willing and ready, and very excited!!
I appreciate any feedback...thanks! :)
I spoke to a couple different people about competitiveness. One lady said they generally accept NET scores of 75 and above. I only scored a 74 on a previous NET test (long story; it was a different test from over a year ago), and so I was going to take it again. Then, I talked to a different person, and she said that I shouldn't have had to take the NET over again, that that score was good. So . . .I did take it over, and got a 78 . . .still nowhere near what I expected of myself. She also said a 3.5 GPA and obove are competitive. My GPA with their prereq's is a 3.63 with an overall of 3.77. I don't feel great about my scores, it seems like I'm just meeting the bare minimum of what they require.
I just want to know too!!! The waiting is driving me crazy:bugeyes:!!!

Awesome! Hopefully so! I don't really know anyone else that is applying other than the people I've read from here. I hope we all hear soon!
